We’re Marie and Arlene — family, co-founders and the heart behind Hampers.ie. Marie, a mum of three boys and former children's nurse and Arlene, whose background is in primary school teaching and a lifelong love of creativity, have always shared a deep love of gifting, design and showing appreciation to others. It’s this connection — to each other, to family and to the joy of giving that inspired us to begin our journey.
For us, gifting has never been about the transaction, but about the feeling it creates. The thought, the care and the sense of being truly seen. Too often we found hampers were generic, missing the little details that make a gift meaningful. We wanted to change that, to craft something more intentional: gifts that carry emotion, capture a moment and feel as special to give as they are to receive.
